So alongside the convention al treatments, I began to listen deeply.
To my body.
To my heart.
To something unseen, yet profoundly present.
That was the true beginning of my healing.
I explored many holistic paths – Reiki, crystals, sound healing, shamanic practices, meditation… each one opening a doorway, each one guiding me back home to myself.
When the treatments came to an end, I returned to Portugal, drawn by a longing I couldn’t quite explain.
It led me to Fátima… a sacred place.
A place where millions come to pray, to surrender, to believe again.
A place where candles flicker like tiny prayers made visible.
I lit my own candle…
Not just in hope – but in deep gratitude.
As I stood there, surrounded by hundreds of glowing flames, something shifted. It felt as it every light was breathing… as if the space itself was alive.
As I began to leave, something unexpected happened. A woman appeared. Quiet. Gentle. Almost as if she had always been there… and yet nowhere at all.
She embraced me.
In that embrace, time dissolved.
She spoke words that didn’t just reach my ears – they landed in my soul.
She offered me a symbolic gift… simple, yet filled with meaning I would only come to understand later.
In her presence, everything else disappeared.
The noise, the people, the world…
Gone.
There was only light. A vast, radiant, white light – pure, loving, infinite. And within it… just the two of us.
I felt peace like I had never known before.
Energy moved through my entire body – soft, powerful, undeniable.
It was as if I was being held…not just by her, but by something far greater.
For a moment – or maybe an eternity – I was no longer afraid.
I was no broken.
I was whole.
Time didn’t just slow down…
It stopped.
When I returned to myself, the space was full again. The world resumed.
But something within me had changed forever.
I cannot say how long we were together.
But I know this…
It was long enough to awaken something sacred within me.
Long enough to remind my body how to heal.
Long enough to remember who I truly am.
That moment was not just healing…
It was a remembering.
And from that day forward, I knew – my path was not only to heal…
but to guide others back to their own light.
